I’m Rowan, internationally acclaimed fine artist and founder of The Maple Sapling Studio.

I’m passionate about rewilding the world of fine art, and helping artists to embrace an earth-friendly, nature-inspired creative life.

Why I created this course:

I'm a working mother of two beautiful little Wild Ones...which means that "calm" and "quiet" are somewhat rare in my life.

Left unchecked, chaos and busyness have their own side effects:

I become more stressed. Disconnected. Disheartened.

And that's when I truly rely on the magic of watercolors to heal my tired, stress-filled soul.

Because there is truly something magical about the art of watercolor painting...especially when you're able to get into that mesmerizing place known as the flow state.

Over the years, I've found certain rituals and practices that really help to make the most of your creative time, so if you're a busy person (like me), even 15 minutes can absolutely transform your spirit.
